Relatively rare sighting...

Recently acquired NOS Radiomir 00288. This is Panerai's earlier (2007-2011) "Radiomir" chronograph, housing the PAM-modified Val. 7753 w/ bi-compax layout. Somewhat unique effect (at least for PAMs) created by the tachymeter chapter ring. Not a ton of these in the wild.

Very cool, congratulations

I like how the rehaut is used for the scale. How is legibility?

The rehaut gives this model that certain distinctiveness, yet doesn't detract from the character of the traditional Radiomir. The same can likely be said for the chrono sub-dials, which subtly blend with the dial and, in my opinion, make for a very clean look overall. To answer your question, legibility is excellent, day and night.

Though I appreciate almost all PAM models, whether vintage or new, for their own characteristics, I find the look of this particular Radiomir to offer something a bit unique yet still faithful to the brand. As indicated in the original post, this was a New Old Stock find, never worn, still stickered, on its original OEM alligator with signed deployment...thus a bit of an extra special acquisition.
