Ohio pleasantly surprised us! We were in Geneva-on-the-lake for a wedding this weekend, and it was great to check out Lake Erie, the local wineries and Cleveland as well (so, more albums coming!). A great weekend in a part of the country that we never thought we'd visit.

Posted a couple of the watch pics in the Rolex forum, but figured those over here would appreciate them as well.

I actually got the Slovenian Sausage, which was great! Burger was on point as well.

Haven't been up there in ages, looks like a great time!!! I think they're trying to upscale a bit. Years ago it seemed to be more of a biker hangout, lot's of bar hopping. Looks like they've tried to change their image a bit, more family friendly, it seemed to work for the area around Cedar Point on the other end of the lake.

It was nice, but I will say that it's more of an overnight type of place - we saw everything in 2 days, including the wineries. We actually cut our trip a day short so that we could check out Cleveland for a night heading home, which was a great decision for us.

We're not the type to sit at one spot for too long; I get too antsy and can pack a lot into one day since I'm up at the crack of dawn.

Luckily, I married someone that feels the exact same way.

We also get bored very quickly, so you won't catch me in a chair by the pool for hours on end.

When I first read the title, I thought he was talking about Lake Geneva Wisconsin. The town is called Lake Geneva, but technically the lake is called Geneva Lake.
