He had good content. Shame.

Who was it? It isn’t Paul Thorpe since his channel is still active, who else was there from the UK?

Were you thinking of the London Watch Collector?

If so I can still view his videos, although I notice he hasn’t posted for a while, couple of months or so since his last posting.

TheWatchGuys channel is still on in the US. I’m able to pull it up on YouTube, if that’s the guy you are referring to.

The youtube channel was that watch guy London. Spencer from BQ watches. It seems a lot of watch YouTubers are getting shut down lately.

Apparently (don't know how true it is)

But watch brands are telling YouTube to shut channels down.

Some channels talk about fakes so some watch brands twist it and be like look they're promoting counterfeit goods.

There's also been instances where Rolex have allegedly written to bloggers/vloggers asking tot ale content down. You'd think Rolex would appreciate the free marketing/publicity... But nooooo

This is very interesting and I feel also a good thing. I watched a video the other day, the entire channel was dedicated to reviews of fake Rolex and other high-end watches. Showed the ordering process, prices, when it arrived the “un boxing” and then a detailed review. It personally made me extremely angry.

If they shut down this channel (I haven’t checked) I would find it a positive move for true collectors and youtube alike.
