What are your favorite bracelet watches to wear in 2021?

With COVID and sanitizers, I have been finding myself wearing less and less leather straps. I find that my bracelet watches tend to be worn more often and that their casual nature fits well with my personal trend towards less formal wear at work and socializing. Here are my favorite 3 in 2021. What are yours?

1) Bulgari Octi Finissimo Minute Repeater: great for business casual and general situations
2) Blancpain Leman GMT Alarm: versatile travel watch while being understated
3) Credor GCLP989: works well for evenings and social gatherings. The hand-done raden and maki-e dial glows under point source lighting

That’s amazing! You really have all your bases covered with those 3 . Which bracelet do you think is the best engineered?

I prefer every watch in my collection on bracelet. I've bought many straps for them but they never stay on for more than a day or two before going back to bracelet. I thought this PML would be the one that stays on leather but it's become my favorite watch on bracelet so the opposite happened.

That’s a wonderful PML you have!

Like you, if a watch model has a bracelet option, I’ll go for it 9 times out of 10. I actually have a Panoretrograph in PT and am considering pairing it with the GO steel bracelet, but afraid of scratching the case.

GO bracelets are the best of the best. Built like tanks, look good, and come with microadjustments.

Thanks!

It’s not even remotely close. The VCO has one of the best bracelets in the game. If you factor in finishing and utility I would argue it’s the best bracelet out. First watch I’ve had that the bracelet was comparable to Rolex in terms of thoughtfulness of design.

The FPJ bracelet is fine but nothing exciting and the Rolex is an old tin can vent to look like a bracelet but I love it.

I previously had a octo chrono gmt and the bvlgari bracelet is also one of the best I’ve had. They really have a winning line.

I’d have to agree w/ the VCO. Best bracelet in my collection and it’s not even close.

AP definitely my favorite bracelet with my VCO a second for me (I actually prefer the rubber - never said that before)

This one. After nearly two years of being away due to global lockdowns, finally back 'home' in Tel-Aviv with the Czapek in tow. I've worn it nearly every day for eight months now - swimming, cycling, dealing with the kids - and it hasn't missed a beat. We're here for a few months now and I didn't even bother bringing another watch.

Not much choice and unfortunately no pics...

1) IWC Mark XV on pyramid bracelet (which is the most comfortable I know)
2) Patek 5711 blue

Thanks! Yeah, it’s a great city. So relieved to see it again after so long. I wouldn’t mind being in NZ though!

Ok, gotta be 'fair' to the Bvlgari Octo as the bracelet on the OMEGA Speedy Buzz Butt is also silky-smooth and comfy.
