Nice looking watch. It is good that Rolex is catering to the people who prefer the larger diameter watches.

Just got mine this week. Saw it in Vegas a few months ago and decided this is the next watch to my Breitling Evolutions since I like that weight. I love this watch. I had returned my sub a few years back, too light. This SDDS looks great and feels great.

do owners of the DSSD not feel it's too big? i tried it one and while i LOVE it i feel it's a tad too big, i'd never be able to wear it with a work shirt...

Congratulations. I want one but it would have to be a weekend watch for me - couln't image getting that under a dress shirt's cuff. What an amazing piece of machinery and precision instrument!

About to get my DSSD...
I am beyond excited to receive my DSSD... I too have wrists on the smaller side but think this watch is beautiful and I should make out fairly well.
My other is a 1998 two-tone 18k Datejust Thunderbird, so looks like I'll have a larger more casual watch in the DSSD and a dress watch in the Thunderbird. |

I have a 14060M and I`ve started to look at the Deepsea, since I appreciate it`s relative uniqueness, engineering and so forth. It also has a date window which I didn`t anticipate I would miss much with my Sub No-Date but I really do. Trying to gauge the size and heft of the thing frompictures is hard, I guess I need to go down to my AD or locate a friendly individual who let me try his/hers on for size.
Is it really that thick/big/bulky? I went from an IWC Aquatimer 3536 to the 14060 and wow, the Rolex sat like a small stamp on my wrist initially. I`m used to it now though but feel like it really could be slightly larger by a mm or two. Is the SubC a better choice? I would wear the watch everyday btw
