Hi Rich!
It’s based on a 00-45 short scale finger style neck with old Madagascar rosewood back and sides and 1902 style rosette inlays.
It plays like a dream

Love the D2HG! That instrument projects like a cannon but is still so articulate. I’ve got an electric Collings (black doghair 290 with Lollar P90’s and a Bigsby) and I’ve been torn on which of their acoustics to get. D2HG is always at the top of my list but I find I rarely play the dreads I own and naturally gravitate to my 00 Martin. I don’t play in a band and I love the ease of playing a smaller body while sitting on the couch.

They make a bunch of nice OMs. I had a Bourgeois slope shoulder dread that is one of the few guitars I regret selling

Thanks for getting back to me. It’s one of the most ornate and beautiful Martins I’ve ever seen. Enjoy it.

Below are a smattering of my guitars and ukes. Actually a fair number I don't have photos of.

Just added a 55 Custom Shop Hardtail to the collection. The small skirted knobs are pretty cool.

Been playing since my first Sears guitar and amp which was also the case...1969
Then in high school played a Fender Mustang in a crappy cover band...and crappy is being nice. I could kick myself in the ass for trading it off.
Bought a pawn shop Tele in 77 which was a 72 model i think kept it till it was stolen out of my car in 82.
Played a used SG for a few year before buying a new Japan Strat in 1991'
Finally got an American Tele in 2000...been playing the Tele mostly for 19 years.
Still have my 77 Princeton Reverb Amp....a Fender Champ....and a Cube Amp from a pawn shop.

I've been playing since high school, so appx 20 years now. Played in a bar band in college. Now, just play for fun.

Guitars:
Fender US Vintage Reissue '62 Jag - Ice Blue
American Special HSS Strat - Fiesta Red
Blonde Tele w/ Rio Grande bridge and Twisted Tele neck pups

Thanks. She better not talk, she's been with me for 30 years and I'd like to keep some of that quiet.

If anyone is interested in the history, here's what I've been able to find:

I am awful at it but I have been practicing using tutorials on the tube. Have been contemplating taking formal lessons to work out bad technique and build a solid foundation.

I love playing, but don't get to very often. I definitely need some more structured practice or lessons to get the consistency back. Feel more like a guitar collector these days, with some beautiful instruments collecting more dust than they deserve.
