I've made the right calls in the past largely due to the help and guidance of others here and I believe I've also helped many choose the right watch for them. Not because I'm telling them what they should like but because I simply share experiences about the wearing, owning and enjoying (or not enjoying) the watch.

Yep, I don't care for whining threads. Including whining threads about which threads are the most nauseating.

Sure. I personally like the Instinct with dual adjustable pulleys. Allows you to do a full circuit of multiple exercises and really get that full body burn. Wait, on second thought, maybe I misunderstood your question

An additional thought. If you consider there are 225,000 members of TRF, only 8700 have posted more than 100 comments since 2005. I often find that those who have lower post counts have really interesting thoughts or knowledge on the hobby. I wouldn't mind sifting through even more "chaff" to find comments that are the "wheat". (But I do wish people would use the search function on TRF more before opening a thread of whatever is on their mind).

After all, our comments are the content of TRF. So if I have to skip through a few more thread titles, but the payoff is one or two more really interesting topics because a larger percentage of membership have posted, so be it.

So straight away this blows all the "tool watch" BS that is so prevalent on here out of the water. It is patiently obvious that this watch "enthusiast" is not interested in the differences between the watch's looks, feel on the wrist or its functions, he just wants to quiz us about which watch is most likely to make him the most money when he flips it!
So start some interesting threads. So far this is the only thread you have ever started.

I think you can usually get a sense very quickly about which threads are started by speculators and which are started by WIS interested in the watch itself. Ignore the speculators and dive deeper into the WIS-centric threads.

I have heard complaints about this before, “this thread topic sucks” etc. It always makes me laugh. Bottom line:

If you feel the topic of a thread is non-appealing/disgusting/strange/uninteresting....

DON’T READ IT! And certainly don’t waste your time posting how bad it is.....

Kind of simple isn’t it?

This actually makes the thread so much funnier.

OP starts his only thread to complain about other people. Classic.

Hey OP, you want different discussions? Why not start them?

No thread on TRF has ever made me physically ill, but I'm going to start keeping a barf bag nearby when I use the forum, thanks to the fair warning presented by the OP

Of the hundreds of thousands of threads here, only a small fraction of members click on and participate in any given one.
As stated, if you find a thread "nauseating", don't click.
