Incoming - something Blue
hi all!
I've been a member for a long time but rarely post, usually only read. I used to own a 15300ST and one of my biggest regrets was to sell it off.. for several reasons: 1) i love it but the fit always felt a bit off.. 2) It wasn't scarce when I bought it so i did not appreciate the rarity 3) I wanted a blue Long story short, the desire to own a Royal Oak persist but I was always concerned with the fit, having owning one that did not fit well, so would the Jumbo fit better? I blindly ordered the 15450ST in Blue without trying it on because I knew if the 15300 didn't fit me, the 15450 got to. Having owned a datejust 36, I'm at the place I want a watch that fits right on my wrist rather than compromise on that for whatever reasons. So, after 7 months wait, the watch finally arrived...and when i saw it, i will not lie, it looked "SMALL".. I took it when it was handed to me - kinda like how a mother who just gave birth to a baby got handed the baby to skin bond for the first time. and we bonded and the blue sparkled and my heart skipped a beat, I put it on and it was PERFECT. I think this is a watch that I will NEVER make the mistake of selling and will remain in my collection. Below's my journey on picking up my watch in Singapore, I flew into Singapore just to pick it up. Exchanged some money into SGD, picked her up for the first time, trying her on for the first time with the protectives on, later retrying it at the airport lounge.. Got back to Tokyo today and trying her on without the protection against gloomy Tokyo weather today. |

Looks like a great fit. Anything bigger wouldn’t fit as well as this does. Keeping my fingers crossed for this watch for myself too. Congrats and enjoy

especially those with smaller wrists! there are no gaps where the lugs are which previously I had with 15300 and cannot stand..

Fits you great! And the blue color of the 15450 is much nicer than 15300
