lovely acquisition, I've kissed a few frogs on my journey too. I believe I have now found a good person who I believe to be honest , kind and truthful .Even if it means waiting rather than have someone who dismisses me or looks at me like I'm the dirt on their shoe.
This is big money I am giving up in my purchase and everyone should be treated with respect and courtesy . Likewise the same to the store staff....I hope you get fantastic pleasure from your purchase!

Thanks! And you're right about not knowing it's on the wrist... I expected to notice the weight of the WG more as I wore it throughout the day; not the case at all! It's so comfortable.

I know the feeling. I've been logging into this forum for a year plus now with "all" these incoming Daytona posts. Purchases of this amount tend to leave me paralyzed both before (stressing) and after (buyers remorse). Pleased to say that there's nothin' but happiness going on right now.

It's hard to go wrong with a lot of the PM Daytona dials that are out there, especially on the modern pieces, but this one definitely has that somethin' special.

Your "incoming" thread was one that I visited often. The number of photos you posted gave me more than enough eye candy to facilitate the obsession. Thanks for enabling! ;)

Crazy, right! Forget actually getting the watch; how about just being treated like you're not insane for walking into a retailer and expecting an item to be available for sale...

This is one that I'm really interested in watch as it plays out. There are a few folks on here who seem to think that it's a "given" that Rolex will sell the PM ceramic Daytonas on bracelet. While that may be true, it's not like they'll do it for a negligible price bump. I like the OysterFlex bracelet with the ceramics because it makes the watch wearable. That said, I'd probably still pick up a bracelet if they ever made one; the Oyster is so comfortable!

E and F straps, which I believe is the standard configuration.

Congrats to you as well! Hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. Really loving the feel and the look two days in...

Thanks for reading the ramblings... It is a great piece and I think it'll complement the existing collection nicely. Now I just have to figure out if it's time to enforce a "one in, one out" policy or if I just not overthink things...

Ha! First time I've seen a watch selection drive someone back to the office... ;) What damage could two 5 year olds really do to a ceramic Daytona on OysterFlex? ... on second thought, don't answer that.

I really wish I could explain why I am so drawn to the Daytona. There's something about the case design, the proportions and the overall wrist presence that just pops ... regardless of which model you have on the wrist. How are you finding "long term" ownership of the WG edition?

116519LN all day long for me. I initially thought this was going to be a problem once I saw the full bracelet edition, but quickly realized that I kept being called back to the ceramic bezel.

Special thanks for posting that very timely video review of the LN. It popped on my radar at just the right time. Always nice to see the more authentic reviews when shopping around for the next timepiece. Hope to see more!

It's a terrible fake, and guy knows as the weight is obviously a SS one.

Congrats OP, at least this fake makes your watch look even better!
