It's fake. Compare the 12 triangle to the pic of the real one someone posted. The guy needs a good insulating Imo.

So...those mall guys in Florida are known for being experts in determining a really good fake from gens?

Just cause a mall guy in Florida thinks its good to go means nothing...sale people and watch makers have NO requirements nor formal ongoing training to keep up with fakes as part of their job requirements...they get duped all the time.

Only a Rolex service center can guarantee the origin of the watch and it's components.

Actually about two years ago I bought a sub at Beverly hills jewels at Florida mall and turned out the movement was real but the dial was not a gen dial or aftermarket.
Returned it and never went back

Yeah, mine is a 16622. I purchased it from an AD in 2006. I noticed, once posted on TRF, the image loses some of its crispness. The original photo has more sparkle on the dial and on the sandblasted part of the bezel insert.
Getting one from David sounds right. The price will be around the same anyway.

The rolex dealers at millenia/florida mall dont authenticate watches anyway. They have no jewelers on staff...

If you want it opened, go to winter park jewelers on park ave.

but yes, buy from David and youll have no worries.

Plus, 7000 for a private sale of a 16622 is too high of a price with no box. should be more like $6200-6500

Yeah he knows exactly what he's doing. The later ones do have a thinner font but his is still a fake POS.
