My prediction is that Rolex will refresh or release a Daytona or several Daytonas.

Hopefully they improve the weight and length of the hands.

How boring.

It is perfect as it is.

Perhaps:
Ceramic bezel for the two tone models.
And RG two tone.

If they made it just a fraction larger - even a genuine 40-41mm would be fine - and sorted out the daft asymmetric lugs on the SS model, then that's all it really needs IMO. The 4130 is perfect as it is, so there's no point in "32xx-ising" it in any way.

One thing is for certain though - it'll be evolution not revolution. And no doubt incredibly minor evolution at that.

This is my thought too.

Daytona is too special to the brand to mess with it.

- 1 mm larger.
- Easier to read subdials.
- Non screw in pushers with a new approach to sealing against water ingress.

What if they did a green ceramic bezel (a la the 122610LV) to mark the anniversary? I assume something Green is in play - which metal is the real question.

The screws on the pushers are not there for water resistance

I anticipate seeing a ridiculous amount of YouTube hype, leading to threads on this forum, and then absolutely nothing happening.

Evolution to a 12 Series Daytona seems inevitable.

If we follow the evolution of the other lines, then …

Daytona 126500

- 41mm (40.5-40.6 measured)

- Glidelock Clasp (PLEASE !!)

- Larger Bracelet (to be proportionate to the enlarged case)

- 4 Matching Lugs (as in the PM models)

- No Date (PLEASSSSSE !!!)

- Crown on Dial at 6:00

- Midnight Blue Bezel / Midnight Blue Subdials would be nice

Why is everyone so interested in making the Daytona bigger? Bigger isn’t always better!
For those that want a bigger Daytona, get the Tudor BB chronograph.

It will be a left handed version. Which everyone will hate, but most will pursue to no end.

Take your pick;

* 41-42mm case.

* All non ceramic bezel models discontinued at that point (precious metal versions in WG/Everose and YG) and replaced with new models.

* Platinum Daytona discontinued but to be re-introduced in a few years time.

* Date function added, maybe.

* Continuation of the current 116500 in Steel 40mm until their replacement in 2024 to match the 2023 60th Anniversary precious metal launches in the new case size.

* Price increases.

* More dial/material configurations.

* Still hard to get but worthwhile!
