116710 LN vs 116710 BLNR

I find it odd that I have no real draw to the LN version. Have been offered it before at ADs and never wanted to buy it. But I have always been attracted to the BLNR. Both watches look very similar in most lighting conditions. Blue isn’t even my favorite color. I think it’s the shade of teal green they use on the LN model that turns me off. What do you guys think if these 2 models comparatively?

It's personal taste and preference, just buy whatever you like.

I like the BLNR. Even more so on the jubilee. Are you deciding between the 2 or is this a general comparison question?

I always liked the LN and its green accents. I had several chances for one from my AD but kept passing thinking it would be redundant with my Sub and 5 dgt LN (wearing a pepsi now) I did end up getting a new Blnr which I love although sometimes the blue 24hr hand doesn't pop like I think it should, it depends on the lighting your in. I still think of adding a 6 dgt LN every time I see one. I like the bezel and the green hand and script together but if you don't like the green.....?

I just got the BLNR. The LN was never seriously on my radar.

Congrats! I also think, as much as I love black on black, I feel like the GMT-MII should have a bi-color bezel.

LN. I’ve bought the BLNR at least twice at retail. They are long gone.

LN for me I like the subtle green GMT hand. It’s just a little more conservative and will match with more clothes...if your into that sort of thing. The BLNR is a cool watch though. Very tempting between the 2.

Always preferred the LN, the BLNR has never appealed.

I love both and while the differences are somewhat minor to some eyes, to me they fit different styles/occasions. The LN is more versatile imho but the blnr is certainly more “fun”

I agree, I have both GMTs and they have different personalities even though they look similar, it like having a twin brother; you look the same but act differently sometimes

Regret selling the LN. Don’t regret selling the BLNR.

Ah. Yes. I think this is exactly it. The gmt imo should always have a bi colored bezel.

I have a 116610 LN and 126610 SD43. So I guess my black watches are covered. I have the 116110 LV and BLNR for a splash of color.

Seems like the favorite amongst WIS is the LN. I don’t know why I have never been drawn to that watch but I have always liked the BLNR. I prefer it over the Pepsi as crazy as that sounds.

Why stop at the bi-coloured bezel.

116713.

I've owned both and the difference is large in my opinion, much prefer the BLNR, I found all black to be too boring, much more life in the BLNR

No right or wrong, it's just personal preference for most or buying the hype for others.
For me, I went LN. No regrets. It's my daily.

Oddly enough I do like the LN on jubilee but I like the BLNR on oyster better.

116710 LN vs 116710 BLNR

I own both. I got the BLNR first, and was looking to add a black sub when I found a great deal on an LN.

I wear the LN as my daily, and bring out the BLNR on weekends or when I’m feeling like I need a splash of color. The BLNR, being the first-born, is still my favorite. ;)

Same for me....bought twice at retail, "Batman" and "Batgirl"........sold them virtually as soon as I got them. They did nothing for me

LN for me, it’s just so much more understated, subtle and classy than the others and can work dressed up or down better. The GMT function is useful in a business watch and the black bezels is much more appropriate in this environment. Also, I have always felt that Ceramic somehow does not quite work with colours the way aluminium inserts did. It never looks quite right. The LNs green accents are a nice detail - very subtle. Either way the Oyster bracelet is an advantage over the current Jubilees which are too fussy and out of place.
