DJ and Cartier are my choices. Either would also work with t shirt and shorts, or a suit and tie.

This is a Rolex forum which will colour the responses, but personally I don't think one needs a jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel for a monday-friday office job where people are wearing smart jeans and a shirt. DJ41 is nice, but seems a bit OTT or 'try-hard'.
A DJ is more useful than an OP for the office because it has a date on it, but for my own taste I don't like a cyclops because I'm not looking to give the impression that I'm an old man whose eyesight's failing - the other 3 manufacturers manage perfectly well without it. Cartier can be dressed up or down but personally I don't go for the shouty numerals. Just a personal thing. The JLC MUT and Aquaterra are decent 'smart-casual' choices with the former erring on the side of smart and the latter on the side of casual. If you're somewhere hot, the leather is a negative for the JLC. But as any answer is going to be caveated with 'just a personal thing' I'm not sure that you are going to get a useful consensus from the community here no matter how many more threads you start... |

DJ41 if you change the combo to fluted/oyster or smooth/jubilee. Otherwise it lacks flexibility outside the office IMO. Of what you sent as is, Omega Aqua Terra.

I'd pick any of those, except the Omega.
I just can't get into the Aqua Terra/Seamaster line. They just look so tacky. If I were you though, I'd probably get the DJ on Jubilee, or the DJ on oyster without fluted bezel. Not both, just too dressy for a business casual scenario. Just my .02 though. |

That JLC is rather sophisticated and less than 8mm thick. I happen to like silver dials and white dials for the office. I would choose either the DJ or the JLC. The JlC can probably be purchased for discount so that could sway some into that direction.

Definitely DJ 41 or DJ 36 depending on wrist size and the “presence” you’re looking for. Personally if I am going DJ I am going Jubilee and fluted bezel...but that’s all a matter of taste. But you will never go wrong with a DJ in the office...or at the beach either for that matter. That watch does it all and is the quintessential Rolex IMO.

From a strictly fashion and looks standpoint, I'd probably do the Omega or DJ since you wear jeans to work. They're both more casual looking, but still sharp watches. If you ever dress up more I'd probably do the JLC. It's a gorgeous dress watch.

I prefer a DJ41 with smooth/oyster combo but it really has nothing on an Auqa Terra. I do have a DJ41 and I'm not disappointed but if I were to do it over now I'd take a real hard look at the Omega.

The phrase “dress jeans” sounds similar to the phrase “short-sleeve dress shirt,” in the sense that I don’t consider either of those phrases to describe a real thing that actually exists.
I’m also a guy rocking a YG DD with flip flops and shorts today, so what do I know. To each their own. I like the DJ a lot but that JLC is a really nice-looking watch also. I think your LVc and speedy would both work for what you need here. |

I think I'm in the minority but the Cartier, but I'd get the blue one to dress it down a bit more. Don't get me wrong, I like the DJ (prefer Azzuro) but the Cartier is, to me, more versatile. The Omega is bland, the JLC not versatile.

I would pick the DJ41. I have the DJ41 (silver dial, fluted, jubilee) and the JLC MUT Date in my collection. The JLC is a very thin watch and I almost exclusively wear it with a suit. I personally think it's a bit delicate to wear with jeans. The DJ is more versitale piece which will fit well in any environment.

Just buy what you like no matter if it looks good or not in an office.
Plus who decide what is OK for office??? No one cares what I wear in my office.... Only one friend that knows me better and knows I’m a watch geek notice my watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
