Which strap for the 5524G is your favorite?

I like to play around with straps on my watches to keep that 'fresh' feeling when wearing them. As we all know, Patek makes changing out a strap a 2 minute job and gives you the possibility to match your watch to the rest of your outfit.

I have been buying different straps from different sources just to see what hits home. I'm waiting on a dark(er) blue with white stitches but here is what I have until now (top one is original).

Which one do you prefer and anyone has an suggestion for a colour that I really need to look at ?? (i'm thinking grey maybe)

Where did you get the deployant clasp? Is it 18mm?

You both have big hands...but Mr. Nautilus seems to have fatter hands apparently to carry the weight of the 40th

OP I prefer the black strap

The PP matching blue calf band with stitching replaced to white (instead of OEM blue), thanks to a fellow TRF’er ;).

My AD loved this band when he saw it on my watch, he ordered one for himself and I think it helped me bond with him over our 5524’s and helped me get my 5168

Hi, I've seen a couple of comments around forums regarding the width of the straps for the 5524.

Is it supposed 20,21 or 22mm? Which has the best fit?

Also, would you use the springbars that originally came with the watch or reuse the original springbars the watch came with? I was told that "normal" spring bars are just made out of steel and would therefore damage the watch case in the long run.

Thanks in advance.
