I love the silver and how vibrant it is in the light - showing the etching in the tapisserie.

I’ve never handled the black in person though - how vibrant/sunburst is the dial?

Yeah, makes sense given the pictures. Thanks.

Another thing I’ve always wondered - which 15500 shows the AP applied logo and Audemars Piguet text the best. From what I’ve seen (but please anyone who has an opinion lmk):

Silver - AP gets lost is the dial (silver on silver) but can pop out at certain angles. Audemars super clear as it’s black

Grey - similar to silver when it comes to the AP applied, but probably even more lost. The text also isn’t that apparent

Black - Audemars shows well as its white text. AP does get lost at some angles, but overall pretty there

That’s a good question. I was wondering why many (including me) has been so fixated on the fact that the 15500 has the AP logo even though in most situations it is “lost” in the empty dial space because of its small size and color, except at certain angles. I actually just noticed this today while looking at the various posts. But that is in pictures, so I’m assuming it’s different in person. Still, it did change my view of the 15510.

Yeah. The 15510 galvanic growth applied text looks very similar to the 15500 AP though (both disappear at certain angles).

Well, one day I've only seen it from afar on FHB's wrist.

Even with the insane MSRP price movements Ash?

Not long ago the Rose Gold QP was my sub £100k grail watch but that’s pretty much what the Steel or Titanium is now

Good point Gareth, I just checked and it’s 10k more than last time I looked.
