Tips for Bracelet Removal
I've been a strap lover for as long as I've worn watches. I'm pretty experienced with removing straps/bracelets on all sorts of watches. I recently became an owner of my first modern Rolex. I can't for the life of me get the bracelet off to swap to a strap. Is it due to the perfect fit of the end-links? I never struggled with new Tudor or Omega models.
Outside of buying one of the expensive "tweezers/pliers" that grabs both sides at once, are there any tricks which may help? I'm using the same Bergeron tool I've used on all my watches. |

The 'tweezer/pliers' option is probably the 'cleanest' way of doing this though with some practice and patience, the Bergeon tool (fine tip) or similar also works, although it can often be a little tricky.

Yeah. My GMT Master II is a doozy... can't get the bracelet off for the love of god.
I finally decided to take it over to my AD over the weekend, before I end up doing something regrettable. LOL |

I've got some of the Rolex tweezers for sale. Very useful piece of kit. |
