For any Jeep enthusiasts....incoming all new Jeep Wrangler JL

Good morning. I believe there’s a few Jeep fans on the forum. Just picked up the all new Jeep Wrangler JL.
Many great differences vs the previous model. Pics are the....”before” the modifications begin....tires, wheels, lift, etc....
Not a whole lot of aftermarket accessories out there yet, as this is just out recently. Have a great day All!

It's amazing what offering a 4 door version has done for sales of the Wranglers

I’m a die-hard 2-door guy. Ive looked over the JL’s and they do have a lot of nice improvements over the JK. If I had unlimited funds I’d flip my ‘15 for one, but I can’t justify it. My only real disappointment is that they were talking about improved fuel mileage for so long. But their improvement is measured in tenths of M’sPG.

Jeeps are more dangerous than watches. Addicting and limitless modifications can be made...and will be made. Your Jeep looks nice. Would like to see it again 1 year from now!

Cheers!

Tell me about it... ‘47 CJ2a, ‘67 CJ3b, ‘70 CJ5, ‘74 CJ5. All but the ‘70 wrecked off road beyond repair. The 2a may still be at the bottom of a river.

That’s come a long way from my ‘97 Wrangler. Especially the interior....

I’m a two door wrangler kind of guy, but I get the appeal of yours. Enjoy it!

Those were all before it was fashionable to have a 4x4 or go off roading for fun. In other words, dirt cheap, bare bones, all terrain machines intended to be abused.

Been a jeep junkie since the 80's. New JL do look nice with some improvements. Have to stick with my 14 for another decade or so. Just got it right.

Congrats OP!

Congrats on the new JL, it looks great! Please let me know how it rides, I have a 2015 JK Sahara Unlimited and love it. Mine is rough on the highway. I've heard the JL rides a lot nicer. Good luck with it.

Yeah, I’m not sure when the pickup version will be out.

Thank you. As far as ride quality....it is excellent. I had a 15 JKU before this and the JL is definitely more refined. The ride is nice(longer wheelbase)
I’m putting on the 2in lift tomorrow with 33’s. Will report back when I do the modifications.

Very cool. 4-door jeeps have been leaving my '99 behind at the light for years, now, so that 3.6L (?) must be nicely responsive.

The 3.6L is their workhorse now. It's in our 2011 Durango. Moves that beast pretty well for a V6.

Very nice and congrats. I've been seriously thinking about getting a 2 door Willys JK. Hoping for a good deal once the 2 door JL's start hitting the dealers. Keep the mod photos coming.
