I went by today to check out the Novelties. Really like the look of this one! Ceramic bezel makes a huge difference, IMO.

Love the ceramic bezel on the 42mm ROO - long overdue! But imo, the red accent on the sides of the strap is overkill. I think it would've looked much better on a black horned back with black stitching (similar to the strap found on the Black Themes). Just my 2 cents.

Nice pic! Altho weird to see the 42s referred to as novelties, even if they are, thought AP time stood still in 2011.

Interesting.
My contact is Azzeddine, the "Boutique Director".
Our conversation was far more informal as he was busy adding a link to my ROO bracelet at the time and did not go to the lengths Julie did for you.

We shall see!

Share some picture for the new 42 MM offshores. Actually the re edition looks better than the picture.

Ce bezel are cool addition, but if the pushers were more like the 44 pushers now that would be perfection

That would be too close and would take sales away from the 44 as the size is big for under 7 wrists. At least they used the old CE bezel style to also keep them different and stop 44ers jumping ship.

so great to see the 42mm line finally get some ceramic bezels

but the Jarno Trulli from 8 years ago (!!) is better looking with a more detailed/unique dial and of course that super shiny cermet bezel

I agree wholeheartedly! I also prefer the indices on the Trulli - they give the dial a cleaner layout than Arabics.
