Panerai question.

Hello all,

So for a long time I have been a loyal rolex and AP guy. I never thought I would get a panerai but over the last few months they have really grown on me and I now want one as I think they look awesome. I like the 233, 164, 104 537 and similar models. Do any of these come with an open/see through case back?

Thank you for any info.

The 233 and 537 have see through case backs. I had the 233 and it's one of my favourite PAMs, and watch for that matter.

Looking forward to seeing what you end up picking!

The 111is a great first Panerai. Luminor case, sand which dial and expo back. If your interested in 233 that is a great watch. 1950 case is sweet. You may also consider a 312. Good luck. I like my Panaerai a lot.

FWIW, you can see the case backs on Panerai.com (for at least current models).

If you're into classic watches, agree with Joearch, go for base 111, etc. In your list, I'd go for the 233 as it would be easy to move if you don't like the pam exprience, coz it's an in-demand pam. IMHO

111 is the a perfect start and end to owning a PAM. All around perfect.
