Oakley Watch Cases - For Rolex

A quick word of warning!

I recently purchased a pair (small & large Oakley watch Vaults, they are spot on!

The small is ideal for the Rolex Submariner etc, and I was so impressed that I decided to order a few more.

On their arrival I found the Small is not deep enough for the Watch body and the Large is a smaller shell size, having compared these to my original purchase it seems there appears to be an early version and a later version they are recognisable by their Label colours.

Orange is the Older Case (smaller body) apart from this version being to tight for the Submariner it also has less of an indent in the cases and is more likley to allow the bracelet to float around, however I would point out this case is more suited to Midsize and Ladies although the ladies would requie a small sponge to stop the watch & Bracelet floating

White/Grey is the Latest Case which is the one you need!

Just be careful you dont purchase the older version photos enclosed!

PS:Apologies for the Tissot on this site, photos where taken for the Oakley supplier the Cycle Store who agreed to rectify the issue no problem and are the cheapest I found in the UK they also carried stock

www.cyclestore.co.uk £16.00 each. 0044 1260 275554

When you talk about 'orange' or 'white' I assume you are referring to the hang tags.

Quite possibly Oakley revised the sizes. The white/gray hang tag appears to be the current version. The small is a very snug perfect fit for any Rolex 40mm watch. i.e. not the DSSD or YMII.

I have two of the small ones that I guess from your findings are the current ones with white/grey tags. They work great. Haven't tried it with my 44mm Panerai yet as I just received them a few days ago.

Thanks to our very generous member Grissom we will be having a giveaway of a 'large' Oakley case very soon.
It will be a lucky random draw and will go to a 2011 Pledge Member

I'm a bit confused. I'm about to buy one- or at least mention it to the kids that this is a great gift for dad (me)

So which one does your GMT II C fit in to? The small one? I read above that the sub fit- which I think is about the same size for my GMT IIC.

TIA

I have the small one (newest version with white/gray hangtag) and it is a perfect fit for my GMT IIc.

Large works great for my PAM 111 Sandro. I still stuff in a micro fibre cloth as an abundance of caution. Again, these are billed as Storage - NOT Travel - cases. However, I use them when I only want to transport one watch.

Thanks for the replies and pics
Funny how a $20 item can be "exciting" to have.

Thanks Bill. I didn't try my Panerai 312 in the small but it sounds like it might not fit. I use mine to rest my watch in once I go to bed. It rest's on my side table. I do these because my kids come in my room in the morning and they like to try dad's stuff on and "bang" around. My kids are 5 and 1.

Ahh. Then the large might be just the ticket - as long as you zip it.

Maybe I just need to buy taller side tables.
