I don't have an answer to your question sorry but I can't help notice that you live in Brooklyn, may I ask which AD you visited?

I just bought one, paid full 8550 +tax, tried to discount (two separate places) no budging... they would have budged on a 116619LB, but I was not ready to drop that much cake.

Congrats and a great price, I wanted this watch new, want my name on the papers etc, so I was OK with the full drop.

It is hard to see that, I have to use a jewelers loupe, angle the watch into the sun, and it is still a hard thing to spot.

I purchased my SubC right here. Definitely below the msrp. I can't see AD's giving discounts on the popular models unless one has a good relationship with them.

I've been to 2 different AD's and there was no budging on the MSRP of the 116610LN...
