I liked the idea of the Starbucks Mk1 from photos i'd seen on the internet... When I initially saw the Mk2 in photos and videos after W&W 2023, I didn't really like it. When I saw the MKII in person in a display case, I knew I had to have it!!

Wow! After 128 votes we're at a dead-heat--64/64. I didn't see that coming...

MK2 dated Feb 2024

MK1 dated Nov 2022

Both photos were taken under the same lighting conditions, captured by Grand Caliber. You be the judge of which looks better.

Have had all versions of the LV. My original was an F series LV and was lime in color. I had the Hulk and it was just too much green for me although I love the dial. Owned the MK1 but sold it to my AD Manager who told me he would get another for me. Well the MK2 arrived and I actually like it better. The MK1 can look pastel like in certain lighting. I found most of the green I wore was not really in line. I love the new brighter green. It reminds me of my original LV. I have compare Both the MK1 and 2. In my eyes, the MK2 is a more solid color that the paler green.

Whichever bezel, this is about the most perfect Sub. The colour scheme, brushed steel, looks stunning on ..

My guess, based on the lighting, would be an mk1--pre May 2023.

Nope. Notice the MK1 has that pastel green effect, especially visible on the 3 o’clock side? The MK2 is more vibrant, and this point is not debatable.

I am having tough time seeing the difference. If I got mine Dec 2022, would that likely be a MK 1 or 2?

MK2 was introduced in 2023. Announced in March, started hitting shops in May/June.

So you have an MK1

When was the Mk 2 introduced? I have had mine for three weeks and I never knew there was a difference.

Bluestreak, thank you for the information

Got mine for my 50th Birthday so it's a special watch to me. Hopefully one of the heard that my daughter will keep after I'm long gone.

Ok I’ll play

How the 116LV Hulk looks like in photos

How the 116LV Hulk looks like in person

EDIT: These two photos depict the MK2 (top photo) and MK1 (bottom photo) of the 126LV very well.

I was a hard pass when offered mark 1. But when they offered the mark 2 I went for it. It’s exceeded my expectations. I like the new case and bracelet.

Neither. The MK 7.0 is the best. Close 2nd is the MK 5.4

I have to admit at release I was in the MK1 camp but after seeing more of the MK2. I think I prefer the MK2 now, funny how taste changes after some time.

Mk2 “Cermit”

Had the Mk1 and never wore it as I didn’t like the “milky green”. Mk2 is a solid vibrant green, and closer to the original! Will be wearing this one
