TagHeuer 1000 Professional Green dial...

I can't say enough great things about my 22 year old Tag with the green dial. Yes, it's a smaller copy of a SUB, and yes I would have made a much better financial investment had I purchased a SUB back then vs. this green dial Tag.

On the plus side it has held up very well. Only one minor issue (date wheel lever) done in 22 years, and a few battery changes. I got it back from the shop today for an ultrasound cleaner and full service. They said that is should be good for another 20 years...

After owning this watch for so long I can't see every getting a SUB, as there are too many similarities to the TAG. Now the GMTII-C, Explorer II, Older GMTII, those watches are pure eye candy for me...

Great looking TAG! I've always liked the late 80's, early 90's TAG watches.

I love Tags. I have 2 Aquaracers WAF 1110, WAF 1113 & a 2000 Professional. I wear the Tags daily & my Datejust is my dress watch.

Beautiful Watch!

I’ve had my Pro. 1000 since 1989 and completely agree with your comments. I’ve also just recently had a full service and pressure test done on mine plus a new sapphire crystal installed. It’s back to being my go to water sport watch. Cheers.
