I’m inspired by last night. It was an absolute ton of fun and it was great seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

Thinking about doing once a month, on a weeknight (likely a Wednesday, at a restaurant in Montclair.

I could likely take their upstairs room so we are not out in the open taking off watches and taking wrist shots etc...

This would be super informal and of course people would come and go as they please.

I’m putting this out there simply to gauge interest.

Please respond as such if you have interest.

A million good restaurants in Montclair. We could rotate.

Centrally located, direct train service to and from NYC.

Alright guys.

This is super.

I just kept thinking that I barely had time to really chat with everyone last night. It was all so quick.

This gives us watch nerds a bit more of a chance to be a community. Definitely looks like enough interest to get started.

I spoke with the owners of Halycon today. They will let us have the room.

More details to follow.

I like where your head is at. And you are exactly right. Montclair offers super easy commuter access. This restaurant is walking distance from the train.

We can certainly rotate a bit. Though I’d like to get one place set up as a sort of home base as it’ll give us some consistency and regularity. Just for the beginning anyway.

I’ll reach out and start a mailing list so as not to provide too much information on an non secure site.

I've eaten there numerous times. Very good food, but it's never been quiet when I'm there! But definitely a cool place.

Lots of good eats in Montclair. Cuban Petes is a zoo, no reservations, and crap food in my opinion.

My favorite restaurant there is Fascino.
