I'm in DC, too. I wear mine in the heat, I even run with it in the heat. I usually run about four 10Ks per week, and then I just shower with the Rolex on when I get back. No problem.

Mines on my wrist rain or shine, hot or cold, every day with steel bracelet. I rinse my watch almost daily in warm water, but maybe two or three times in hot hot weather.

I started wearing watches with bracelets because of the heat and humidity in the South and that's also why I wear my bracelets loose to this day.

Out here in the high desert, I enjoy wearing leather bands from time to time, which I couldn't stand in humid areas, but I don't think I'll wear resin or rubber straps ever again.

I, too, can't handle leather straps in the summer. I always go for the rubber strap until the weather changes and then back to leather. They just get too funky otherwise

Puerto Rico (Caribbean sea) is pretty hot and humid all year long; no issues with Rolex bracelets neither for over 21 years!

Bracelet, rubber or nylon material so you can rinse with water. You can also use leather care product to help water protection.
