Tag Heuer Carrera Twin Time Problem

Hey everyone,

I've just bought myself a second hand Tag Heuer Carrera Twin Time from Texas Watch and Gold.

It arrived today and I've started wearing it although the extra (GMT?) hand seems to be slow. I've set it a couple of times and it keeps lagging behind.

The watch itself keeps time but the extra hour hand is running at about half the speed it should.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? Any ideas what it could be?

Ok, so I heard a rumour this is because the GMT hand only rotates once per 24 hours....I guess that explains it! :-)

Bingo! The 12 hour hand rotates the dial twice a day, the 24 hour hand rotates once per day.
