Tudor Oyster Prince 5250

Hello horology experts. I am trying to seek out information which I am not able to find it regarding, supposedly Tudor 5250. I have not seen the watch in person yet, but I have pictures that I will share after I will modify them.
This is an estate sale and the watch has been estimated value of USD $2000. Apparently, the watch is not working so it is a bit of a gamble but it appears to be a full set :)
I would appreciate any info you could share.

Unlikely that is the correct reference / model number.

If I had to guess, that looks more like a 7995/0 reference.

The bracelet doesn't appear to be original. I would proceed with caution (the watch itself looks okay though)

Difficult to see what model it is if you can get the top bracelet off with a paperclip it will be there (they were stamped on case back from 30s up to 50s then migrated between lugs when engraved case backs introduced

It could be a 34mm or 32mm... it looks smaller than a 34mm from first glance / length of handset - the ETA auto movement of that era had 25 jewells so it's in ballpark but as alwayshere says probably not original

* worth noting these paper tags fetch £75-80 as people put them with 50/60s 7924/28 Tudor Submariner etc*

Either way $2000 is big big money for a small Tudor (mit after mkt bracelet)... Roughly, I buy them at about half that, and that's for a working item !...I'd say 500-700 tops is this puppies landing site, bit less if 32mm!

$2,000 would be a little steep (but not ridiculous) for a working 34 mm Tudor like this in good condition with the original bracelet, from a dealer (as opposed to a private seller).

This one is effectively head-only due to the cheap aftermarket bracelet. And it would cost a fair bit to get it up and running. Not for me, TBH, unless they're willing to accept $500-ish.

cool I wasnt too far off.

it went from 7965 to 7995 in later years.

Agree with Z, not worth anywhere close to $2K in current condition.
