Royal Oak Blue Dial shade confusion.....

Good afternoon Gents.

For those of you who had followed my previous posts (and those who didn't), I finally decided to take the plunge and go for a 1992 dated 56175ST RO Quartz with long hour markers and a 'supposed' Blue Dial.

Now I say 'supposed' because I'm pretty sure the Seller is pretty reliable and isn't lying when he says it's classic RO Blue, and it appears this model was only made with a Blue Dial...But I for the life of me can't seem to catch the blue from any angle whatsoever, and this is despite some pretty decent pictures by the Seller from various camera angles. It feels pretty much Black/Grey. Seen some pics on various sites and its about 75/25...most of the pics seem to indicate a very very dark blue (literally Greyish Black) dial...yet a few pics seem to show a discernable classic Blue RO dial.

So is this a peculiarity with Blue RO dials? Do they just photograph really badly in real life, as opposed to stock photos which highlight the blues in all their glory? How many different shades of Blue has AP put on their RO dials, if any?
