Definitely getting some inspiration from these workouts.

I actually am realizing how boring my workouts are. I do a ton of the same stuff over and over.

I picked up the kettlebells yesterday and had a blast. Hurting, in a good way, today.

Congrats Dave! We love ours. Make sure to track your progress on the C2 website. You can track your workouts by linking the rower PM5 to your cell phone by Bluetooth. I use the ErgData app to track, which then forwards the workout to your internet account. Passed 300,000 meters recently.

Today's workout was my first time trying burpees. Quite a shock to the system. Planks are also harder than one would think given you're not even moving.... Groups are supersets.

Backward Arm Circle 4x8
Burpee Broad Jump 4x6
Forward Arm Circle 4x8

Burpee High Jump 4x4
Dumbbell Front Raise 3x12
Pause Squat 4x5

Duckwalk 4x4
Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3x12

Kettlebell Situp and Press 3x10

Reverse Plank 1:00 x3

I find the more content you have the harder it is to find something.

Back to exercise.

For me exercise is so boring. I do Pilates classes. With chicks. Not boring.

And play hockey, not boring.

I just can't do exercise without motivation. I need the motivation of competition. I got a fever....I need cowbell.

I gotta have more cowbell.

I love seeing the rowers! Nothing beats a Concept2 model D. Add some weight training, and you're good to go. The Concept2 is also one of the biggest bangs for your buck.

My fave sport is R/ball – but that is obviously on hold.

Started running and m/biking more.

May even go in my little home gym with the Mrs (concept2 rower, running, weights, bike and stepper) but I find it mind-blowingly boring.

UK was a really beautiful Spring day so did a 3 hour ride and am lucky to live on the Yorkshire/Derbyshire border and havehttps://www.rolexforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1122583&stc=1&d=158525 7105 some fantastic rides on my doorstep.

Something nobody else has mentioned is gardening -it can be a great workout!

I am lucky to have quite a large garden and though I know little about it, enjoy doing all of it myself. I can easily spend a couple of days messing around and it can be quite tiring and very therapeutic – which I certainly need at the mo – things are really getting me down!

Workout of The Day

I picked up Powerblocks and a bench just before the gyms shut down..I’m so surprised how well my workouts are going with just dumbbells ..tho I really miss Bench Press with the Olympic bar as well as squats

^^^

Nice gym.

I just got done for today. Bit of a long leisurely indoor bike ride. Ended with a bunch of sprints. And then played around with a 45 lb plate for a bit.

Trying to keep things mixed up. Might try and run up and down the hill outside later.

Our CF box did something similar. If you placed a deposit, you could check out any item (Concept 2, bars, rings, etc). I don't think anybody took them up on the ropes that we use to climb.

There are two gyms aboard Mercy. One is more cardio-centric & the other features free weights & cable machines. I do "pyramid" style arm works outs. For example, for tricep extensions, I do 30 reps at 60lbs, 25 @ 70, 20 @ 80, 15 at 90, then reverse back down to 60 lbs. I'll do that 3x. Then do the same with biceps (but usually starting at 50lbs & going up to 80). Forearm curls (just actuating the wrist) @ 30lbs each side 'til I smoke-out. Then planks until I fall, usually around 3:30.
