Well, tomorrow I’ve been in lockdown for a week and I have to say that it’s been a long one.
The highlight of the day is the walk to the grocery store and back, only one person per family is allowed in.
In the news everything revolves around corona.

Here the lockdown is supposed to continue for 8 more days after tomorrow, but I have a suspicion that it is not enough.

I just rebuilt my audio system and got a Tidal subscription so I have almost unlimited music at my fingertips. Also there's Netflix but I am not much of a movie fan.

As an old dude I have to get up at least once in the night, so my sleep is disturbed. I nap everyday. And we take care of our 5 year old grandson whilst the kids work. They work in food stores so I think their jobs are good.

Yesterday I cut my toenails. Today I'm going to go through my fossil collection and clean everything up and print new labels.

Now that deserves an entire thread of its own

I had a ‘78 911SC Targa and loved it for many years until an ‘84 Carrera stole my heart and the Targa was traded-in.

Now we must see the pictures and the progress but I’d open your own thread for diversionary value against the COVID news.

I feel like I’m now on the phone almost non stop and otherwise managing email traffic / webex meetings. This WFH malarkey is going to provide some challenges if it’s for an extended period of time.

Two weeks alone with family, what could possibly go wrong?

We're watching The Shining tonight.

Yeah boy doesn't get much better than that. A puzzle for men with class and taste.

This last week has been the longest year of my life. Stopped in at the office twice. I found some good deals though, bought 2 used Omegas, 2 micro brand Subs and a 1967 Colt commander. I'm done buying, just family time now and will be getting the GTO ready for a hopefully good summer.

Just assembled a model from 1969, it’s called Romels Rod, a German half track in WW II with skeletons. My father and I assembled this model back when i was eight years old and it is a very fond memory I’ll always cherish. I found an original on line, unopened from 1969 and bought it. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. I’m sure my Dad was with me putting it together; again.

That is awesome. My 13 year old son is heavily into WW2 history and would love that model!
