Same. 17 month old and 3 small dogs.
My wife is SAHM. I’ve always appreciated how much she does and how hard she works, now that I’m living it I realize that she is superwoman.

We need a thread for ways to keep toddlers entertained lol.

As per someone else who posted this idea, I’ve got some knives to sharpen. The loving bride and I are also indulging in some of our better wines whilst sitting in the courtyard and watching the world pass by. Sniping gophers in the front yard with an RWS 36 is also proving great sport.

I also picked up an iPad. Attempting to post photos by way of my MacBook has proven frustrating and reading of the ease with which pictures can be posted over Tapatalk compelled me to pick up one of these babies. I’ve acquired my first Rolex but until this moment haven’t spoken of it as I’ve some pictures I’d like to accompany the posting. It seems pretty easy so with a bit of perseverance I hope to add another “Incoming” post.

Getting antsy here. Cleaned and serviced my espresso machine yesterday. Today taught my 7 year old how to use a ratchet, had him swap out the license plate frames on one of the cars. Played a family game of Ticket to Ride as well. Lastly, went to the bike shop and got the kids sized for new bikes. Given that summer vacation has started already, I expect a lot of miles to be put on those bikes.

Today I sorted through stored kitchen utensils and such in the basement. Found a small fork to match my existing set. Back up to a full drawer in the kitchen. One of each, just like Monk.

Cheese and pickle sandwiches are again in vogue. I'm eating more, so low-fat is good.

Took a walk downtown today. Chilly wind. Found an empty deli and bought excellent fresh-roasted turkey breast.

May flee the east coast, back to sunny Arizona. Preparing my bugout bag and my cat's bugout litter box and insulin cooler ... with zero traffic, I'd probably do the 2400 miles in 38-40 hours, breaks included.

Hanging out with my wife and kids.

Working out.

Movie marathons.

Drinking in excess. (Reminds me of Marine corps barracks life being locked in lol)

Reading lots of random stuff wherever I can.

Probably relocate the battery in my 91 Silvia to make room for intercooler piping if the weather improves.

Cleaning and playing with watches.

The house is really clean! Got my new workstation set up which was something I had been putting off since it's a big PITA but this time has been good for that. Running every day and working out at home. Walks to the beach. Probably drinking a bit more than I should in the evenings during movie time. Probably one of the few people who actually got hired at a new gig during this mess (contract work/photography) so there has been a lot of back and forth stuff with that.

Cool, I remember putting one of those together.

I am in the mountains now cross country skiing every day but have to head to Denver tomorrow as my wife starts a 3 week rotation in the Childrens Hospital NICU. Keeping fingers crossed for her.

I ordered some puzzles and STEM projects for the kids and a wood model ship kit for me. We will be taking Yousician lessons in uke, guitar and piano. Spanish and Italian lessons on Duolingo. Hopefully our school will have some online curricula soon.

As long as permitted, we will be walking and running along a canal trail that skirts our neighborhood. I can do a 25 - 50 mile bike route and only cross five neighborhood roads!

During the week - read books, TRF, other Forums, daily walk/exercise, cook, gardening, strum guitar, drive sports car, go out hunting for toilet paper.
Weekends - drink wine, listen to music (sing along), garden at Son's place, cook, make great coffee & drink it on the verandah with family.
No change, really. (except the search for toilet paper)

What are you doing to kill time spent at home

Working from home and prepping in case there is a full lockdown and going out is further restricted

Learning to order groceries online which I was never in the habit of doing

Setting up another home office for my wife

I am painting the interior of the house. Over the last few days went to the paint store for some supplies. Also throwing out stuff we never use and getting rid of some clutter.

Drove far out of the city this AM. Ran 8 miles and stopped to admire the sunrise. It’s not all bad out there - it’s the little things that remind you we’ll get though this!
