So, have you figured out what's most important in life yet?

Self reflection is looming, in the mist of this pandemic.

Staying healthy and taking care of others.

The rest is just a means to staying occupied.

Brothers and sisters who have ranch homes with handicap accessible bathrooms are most important, . . . . so they can get mom next time.

Health family and friends. It was really hard adjusting over the last two weeks being on lock down with my wife and our 6, 4 and 15 month old children but now I cherish the time. Also have an ongoing text chain and zoom meetings with my friends that I usually only see once a month. Now we are talking daily.

I've really stopped caring about watches too. I've only warn my DSSD because I'm taking the kids in the pool almost everyday to burn energy. Haven't missed the others in the least.

So maybe Netflix and beer.

And maybe toilet paper.

My lifestyle shifted when I retired a few years ago. We day care for our 5 year old grandson and spend time with my son and DIL. Pretty much no change with the virus issue. We take out instead of dining in, and as long as we are healthy I am content. The warmer weather now allows me to sit outside and watch the neighbors and all the kids getting outside.

Our income is reliable. The son and DIL work in food stores so they are stable as well.

The health of my family and friends. I didn't need a pandemic to figure that out though.

Have been at home with my pregnant wife and four year old daughter for over two weeks now while we both work remote. It can be trying at times but enjoy the time I am getting to spend with them. I do miss seeing our friends and my daughter really misses her friends at daycare.

I fell terrible for kids that are in abusive homes as they have no escape that school can provide.

Esp other people, we've never really seen this mass selfish panic or such tireless heroic behaviour before, only in the movies, and it is quite fascinating to me, I am actually glad to witness it, never thought a serious war or pandemic would actually visit our shores.

What I do hope is that those who society has rewarded hugely like sports stars and bankers are cut down a peg or ten and the healthcare workers and the supermarket workers are raised up; money really is not everything, and is hardly anything when the apocalypse rears into view.

Yes, the most important one is the one your are with, the most important time is now, and the most important thing is to do good. Well not my ideas, but rather Tolstoy's. But I try to remember these.

I admire your optimism but nothing will change. And don't forget that during wars, great fortunes are made.

And there's this:

Compassion for your fellow man. Not everyone is in such a great position as others. But it’s times like this that tell you a lot about those around you.

Family always comes first and should be kept close. I’m relatively young and my parents are still relatively young.

The best thing we could have ever done was build two separate houses on the same property.

And from a materialistic standpoint 0 debt has been the most comforting thing during this incredible “hiccup”

Well, actually the difference now could be social media and that bully pulpit will be used by the masses against those rich and privileged who are taking the p1ss, one example is that super wealthy football clubs owned by billionaires here have furloughed their staff with no pay, while the multi-million earning players still have not taken a pay cut, and normal working class fans won't forget that, even if they still support the team and the players still make crazy money, the abuse and loss of adoration they will get on a daily basis will go some way to bringing them back down to earth.
