What Rolex would this guy wear?

OK i know there are some men's style aficionado's on this board. I have a question...This is a male model and not me. It is a picture of exactly how i dress daily casual. I'm looking to purchase a modern Rolex but unsure of which one would work with this style. Please help. Budget is something under 25k.

Thanks in advance.

You should buy whichever Rolex you like best, can afford, and won't have an unacceptable level of negative consequences to your existence in terms of perception by others. From a "style" perspective, something like a stainless steel Sub is going to fit in well with the workwear look, but for someone with the right "attitude" I think you could just as easily go with a Day Date 40 in yellow gold with those clothes, but that kind of comes down to how you carry yourself and what environments you tend to be in. Is the workwear look a preference or are you chopping down trees and building log cabins every day?

This is exactly what makes my decision so difficult (Perception by others). My environment is rural small town Texas. The attire chosen is more to "fit in" rather than to stand out. Unfortunately my taste in watches are bold and rather flashy for this environment and will probably be looked upon as brash. But I really would like to own and wear a Rolex.

Rolex watches are a whole lot of money to spend on what someone else wants. Just buy the one you like and can afford, wear the heck out of it, and don't look back. No need to over think this for someone else's sensibilities.

I’m thinking the same. I’d say 14060M but I’m biased with 5-digits

If you’re worried about looking brash with a Rolex don’t roll the sleeves.

Hmm, been dressing like this since the 90’s but sure. The beauty of Rolex is that unlike most companies they are sport watches and any sport model, would go fine.

Some kind of Rolex Sub or Seadweller.

Great rugged watches, and most wouldn't even know or care what you have on.

And you'd be comfortable in knowing you have one of the best and most iconic watches on the planet.

Sub no date unless you need that function. You can wear it with that look, to the beach, to a fancy wedding and everywhere in between! Black dial, black bezel and a brushed SS bracelet.

Maybe a TT GMT CHNR root beer would be a nice compromise. a Little bit of sparkle with the rose gold but less than full yellow gold and muted colours on the bezel. Here’s mine looking pretty laid back...

Anyway, wasn't the yellow gold Day Date once known as a Texas Timex?

That's a beautiful watch you have there. And yes once upon a time during the 80's oil boom the gold president was jokingly known as the Texas Timex.
