Flat 4 Kermit serial F009831 stolen.

All, I just got my Flat 4 Kermit stolen this evening in Inglewood, CA. I’d appreciate it if everyone could please keep an eye out if you see a flat 4 moving around with serial number F009831. Although it hurts to lose something so valuable, I’m thankful I was not badly hurt.

If you see that serial number out there, please contact me via TRF right away!

Thank you all and enjoy your 4th of July weekend!

Long story short, was jumped in the parking lot of a donut place. They weren’t armed, but were able to take it away from me by force. The worse part is that there were people watching, and didn’t do crap about it.

I have the feeling it will show up in a local pawnshop. So I’m making calls tomorrow when they open up to keep an eye out.

File a police report and get that serial number into their system. Any pawn shop that takes the watch will have to register it and it will be flagged. GL getting it back. I hate stories like this.

Yeah I did right after it happened.

Thank you, I hope I get it back too. It’s always good to be alert, I would have never thought this would happen.

Glad you’re ok. That’s why I don’t wear my watch so openly. You never know who you come across. That is why I never listen to people on this forum who advised others that is always safe to wear a watch at any place. Anyhow good luck. It is unlikely you’ll see your watch again.

Sorry to hear Montes. I would scour Craigslist and Ebay daily as well. Inglewood aint like it was back in the day. Hell, most of LA is toast. One of the reasons we want to get out.

You mean CA isn’t the bright future of the USA?

On a serious note: my condolences to OP. That is bloody awful thing to happen. I dearly hope you and your wristwear are reunited in short order.

I agree with this. Until you’ve had a bad experience you always ‘think’ you’re safe. You’re kidding yourself. Trust me, your watch can be easily taken off you anywhere. All it takes is to cross paths with the wrong sort of person. You need to remember to a lot of people it’s a LOT of money attached to your wrist. Probably more than their annual earnings. To the op, I am very sorry to hear about your situation and it could be a lot worse. Glad you weren’t hurt. You can always buy another watch...

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate event. Don’t give up hope at some point your watch will come across a jeweler or pawn broker that runs its serial and you may get it back. Keep your fingers crossed, hopefully you had insurance.
