Security Coronet on Chrystal?

I have a recently purchased Sub, ( mfg 2021) which looks perfect and accurate in every way except that I can't locate the etched coronet on the Chrystal at six o'clock. Are they still putting these there? Thanks.

If you look carefully, you will find it.

There is a small white coronet there between Swiss & Made. Is that what I'm looking for? Is this a new etching as it's nothing like the dotted coronet on my 2009 sub?

No, it isn’t the small coronet on the dial - it is etched into the crystal. Shine a super bright light and look at various angles. You’ll find it.

Yes it should be there, it’s a coronet made of little dots. You need bright light and look from various angles to find it.

Use a 10x loupe and look at an angle from 12 towards 6 with very bright and keep moving the watch slightly and you'll see it pop into focus and then disappear. I think it's formed by laser-etched dots. It can be very, very difficult to see.

Yes - and I think the dots are various depths, making it even trickier to capture (and copy).

Daylight helps or shining a light across the face of the crystal
I couldn't see this with my naked eye but took a photo with an iPhone and it's then pretty clear if you zoom in
It almost appears to be a reflection

I never see it looking at the watch straight ahead - look from the side and/or shine a bright light from the side.

That's definitely the etching on the crystal. It's comprised of dots.

There is a reflection in the photo, but if you look closer the LEC will appear.

Below, I overexposed the photo, zoomed-in, and you’ll see a larger, ghostly LEC.

Very visible in this pic but must look at it from an angle compared to the light.

If the crystal has been replaced, it might not be at the 6 o'clock position but it for sure should be there.

The coronet is inlaid by Celebrimbor with ithildin into the crystal, and can only be seen in starlight and moonlight.

I’m sure it’s there, I just threw on my President after years of my eye sight tapering off, every time I look at it I think I have a GMT.
