Modern Rolex with ceramic bezel
The amount of ‘grease’ marks from fingers and just general wearing is quite incredible
Or is it just me..... |

I have a BLNR and I don't find those things to be a major problem.
I can wipe down my watches almost any time without much effort at all.

My BLNR from 2014 bezel looks like the day I bought it.
Which model has the issue for you? |

I had that happen after I timed myself eating a half rack of wet baby back ribs. Quite a mess. {:-))

I, too, have the BLNR and the bezel can get spotty from water drops or otherwise a bit grungy. My answer is a gentle wash with dish soap under warm water. Pat dry and then either gently buff with a towel or let it air dry and the ceramic bezel will look new again. That shine and depth of color is incredible.

I can see where this thread is going to go.
Damn these new ceramic bezels! Damn these latest 6 digit models! Anyway a bloke down the pub heard a rumor that at Bazelworld 2019 Rolex will be rolling out all sports models with Aluminum bezels, Ceramic bezels will be discontinued! |

I have the SD 43 and the BLNR; the SD shows up grease marks more, bigger bezel woth more black so makes sense. Neither is a major issue. I just find I need to wipe them down a couple times a day to make it all shiny again. And a good wash per week
I don’t get this with the Tudor GMT Just wondered if I was an unusually greasey mofo |

When in a Pub, do you lick your fingers after grabbing some peanuts out of the bowl....repeatedly?

One of my favourite threads, the ceramic bezel really is a marvel IMO |

That's a new one, now ceramic bezels suck because of greasy fingers and marks... Nothing to do with maybe the owner.
I wonder how you fair with smartphones being all glass and huge magnets for smudges and prints. |

Not an issue for me; I wipe it down with the same microfiber cloth I use on my iPhone, which attracts ten times the grease and fingerprints.
