An extremely rare submariner NOS incoming. Waited years for this one.
Somehow clickbait title, however I am sure people will appreciate the joke here (at least I hope).
Back when Rolex made tools and their users were more worried about reliability than scratches, the company commissioned a Swiss designer to advertise the 1680 and its waterproof ability. I remember seeing this image long ago, and always wanted to get a good copy of the poster. Let me tell you that finding such an example was not easy. I have now to frame it, and finally hang it next to my others pieces of art.   Yet, it might have been easier to procure (and faster) than many current models.

Make sure to get it foam mounted at a craft store like Hobby Lobby before framing. Makes a huge difference in how nice a poster looks framed. Actually, I do the same with all large photos as well.

Where can I get that strap? ;)
I have some pieces hung up. Worth it to get it framed professionaly and with a nice matte. Maybe creme colored matte. It will make that poster pop on your wall. |
