Two questions on the 3130 in my sub. I have been wearing this watch daily since November and recently noticed some things I am curious about. This is my fist mechanical watch so I have zero experience.

Rotor noise; I have read about the new ball bearings being noisy but would that noise also apply to loud tick when when the watch is moved quickly. For instance, if I am pumping my arms as if I am running, every few pumps you can hear a tick like a small piece of metal bouncing in the case.

Second question applies to the hands moving when I set the time. When moving the crown counter clockwise, the first one tenth of a turn, all three hands rock back in unison about one second distance, then the second and hour rock back forward as the minute continues counter clockwise. I have only noticed this today. It happened a couple times then I could not reduplicate it.

Not really worried as the watch is keeping incredible time, about ten seconds slow a month.

The 3130 does not have a bearing rotor, it is a bushing. An occasional "click" could be anything, but it's usually the bracelet.

All of the hands are engaged with the same gear train which needs slack in order to function. Any time you change the rotation of the gear train you always need to take up the slack, and it may be noticeable at the hands.

It is possible to break the jewel bearing under the bushing and cause the rotor to knock when it spins.. but that would knock all the time as it contacts the movement surface.

The only way to really know if this is happening it to look inside.

The sound is from the click, when the ratchet wheel advances one tooth and it falls back in.

The hands are not on the same drive train. Seconds hand is on its own, minute and hour are driven directly from the barrel. Some wobble is normal though but shouldnt affect the seconds hand.
