+1 Take the premium money you’d spend with grey and start your new brand collection. Your AD has done pretty good by you so far. Be patient and I’m sure they’ll come thru for you. In the meantime enjoy building your new collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you have the $$ just do it. If you end up getting it at some point in the future from your AD you can buy it and sell the one you have from grey market at whatever the market price is at that time. Might take a bit of a hit but at least you could potentially recoup majority of the cost
Good luck |

I believe all Rolex have gold on their dials. Personally I would never pay over msrp for a new watch thats still in production, however knowing the market on the Daytona at least it holds it's value. I'm glad I'm not a fan.

See my reply earlier, it depends on the person's viewpoint - some wear no gold at all, some wear gold if it's a small percentage and some don't mind as long as the gold doesn't touch the skin.
It's open to interpretation as at the end of the day lots of electronics and other items have gold inside them too which we cannot do without in this day and age and is permissible to have. As an example, my brother-in-law bought the old pre-ceramic pepsi from 2007 as I believe the hands and indices on that model aren't made of white gold so he minded even to that level of detail. Whereas, I have a friend who wears a SS datejust with a fluted WG bezel and doesn't mind because the gold isn't physically touching his skin but will never buy a gold DD. |

Are the plots and hands on the green sub gold? I don't see the answer to my question to the OP in your earlier posts.

Thank you. Nothing rhetorical. Just a question.

That's a beautiful collection and I hope you can get your Daytona.
However, I hope you'll replace that women's DJ in the case with the Daytona and keep the Casio in that collection. That's a cool calculator watch! |

Its not only a calculator watch lol. Its actually a remote control and calculator watch from the 90s. Amazing right. I bought it for my son from someone who had a brand new piece from 22 years ago in storage. I bought it for him because my dad bought me one when i used to go to work with him and help him at the age of 7. Just bought back some memories Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Love your collection. I wonder where you're located in Asia; I live in Malaysia and for me it's absolutely impossible to get ANY sports Rolex in SS; I have zero relation with any ADs and so I simply went grey on all my watches. It depends on how bad you really want the SS Daytona; for me I wanted it really badly, paid the premium back and never looked back. Loved it and won't plan to sell it either. That said, I envy the fact that you were able to get your Batman/Hulk/Pepsi ALL at MSRP.

I would move on from the Daytona, sounds like you want to complete a "collection" rather than you really want it. Most of the time these collections (air, land, sea etc.) are just things people have made up to justify a new watch. Not knocking it at all, just don't think its worth getting too involved in to the point you pay that much over the odds. |

I would suggest holding on for a little longer, at least wait until 2021 and see how the market evolves.

At gray pricing the SS Daytona is a waste of money. Just get a WG one from your AD and move off Rolex.

As seen in you pic, you have 6 Rolexes. Out of which four are hot selling stainless steel pieces! And just two DateJust incl one lady datejust. How did you manage to get the black skydweller and the Pepsi though?! Going by this maybe you should buy one more datejust and he might offer you the Daytona! Makes sense rather than paying double in grey!
