Question about C.F. Bucherer watches

Hi All,

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I was wondering if any of you have more knowledge about C.F. Bucherer watches and if it is even worth buying one.

More recently, two pieces have caught my eye, one is the Manero Flyback with Blue Dial and the other is the Manero Flyback Signature edition.

Which of the two would you consider buying? I am just trying to get opinions and also to check if anyone can provide more info on whether it's a good idea to even buy these watches or if I should consider something like an Omega or Tudor.

Thanks.

I've encountered their watches through their Bucherer showrooms in Central London, and I can confirm they make some absolutely stunning pieces.

Over 100 years of watchmaking history, and Swiss founded - you can't really go wrong. I've had the pleasure of having the grey/blue Manero flyback on the wrist, and have to say the thing is a beauty.

Price is subjective, but I believe them to be of good value... just don't expect it to double in value the minute you walk out the AD, or for it to warrant $6.5m at auction

Haha! I don't expect a price increase or anything. I am at least hoping it has a similar presence and reputation as an Omega or Tudor. Not many people I know have even heard of Bucherer which is why I wanted to check what others thought.

Beautiful watch that I gave a lot of serios thought to.

In the end it came down to where it would fit in my collection.

I don't own one but I like the Bi-Compax and the Manero Flyback. They make some of their own movements and have history. You can also find them on the grey market at a discount.

If you get one, make sure to post a pic!
