But you know, Platinum is more rare, harder, and worth three times what gold is. |

I dig it when women where 40mm watches. Not a huge fan when I see women in 44mm like big Panerai, but a 40mm Panerai, or Sub would look really good.
If you’re looking for something somewhat smaller I would say the mid size yachtmaster looks good!

If you like Mother of Pearl, look at the Serti Dial Submariner. Personally, I think you'd look best with a stainless Daytona with a brightly colored leather strap. I think a shiny white leather strap would be best. Rolex sells a white gold Daytona, but why pay extra for gold if it's gonna look like polished stainless steel?
Also, if you like MOP, check out some of the models with the Meteorite dial. I bet you'll like it too. Only problem is that I don't think you can get Meteorite with stainless so the price goes WAY UP. Best of luck, Rawhyde |

Yellow gold does seem to be associated with a more, how can I say, mature appearance, whilst stainless steel is a more sporting type of image or persona. Yellow gold does seem to have more of a bling factor associated with it. Rolex stainless steel is very famous, as they use a special grade. Stainless steel will also be more affordable and less prone to scratches and wear. In the end you have to choose what will make you happy. |

Young, dark skin, tall and slender .... a 116234,Jubilee bracelet, white dial,Romans or diamond dial, will suit you nicely. Only problem I have with the diamond dial is that it ads too much to the price and on used value you will get less $ for the $ spent.
You should thank your ex friend for stimulating your interest on a subject we all love.A Rolex is special.Enjoy the experience. |

I appreciate your being here, and like your posts, Ayisha!
That's what counts, not your good looks
