Here is one for you. A forum favorite! One of the most modified Rolexes on the planet. Hopefully the debate about usefulness of the rotating bezel on this Submariner doesn't come in to play like it did with the GMT Master II yesterday. :-)

That would be interesting. The Milgauss uses a larger crystal than a lot of other Rolexes (bigger than Submariner, datejust, etc.)

However, at 40mm the Air-King likely does use the same size crystal as the 40mm Milgauss

How about an albino Explorer? I’m really thinking about such customization for my 114270

Yes I know I should locked up for this kind of thinking but how stupid easy would it be for ROLEX to make a white dial 214270 ? Just reverse the paint colors slap on the white gold markers just as they do on a white dial DJ ,, done then sell a bunch of them and make $$$$ !

Exactly my intention with the custom, it’s just really hard to sacrifice a watch for this. Still I’m really considering, since such an albino 6610 is out of reach even if I had the funds haha

Question. I want a BLNR badly, but they are so hard to find and the ones that do have them…....jack the price up a few grand.

Is it cheesy to just get a regular GMT Master II (Ceramic Bezel) and change the bezel insert yourself with one the aftermarket black/blue ones off eBay? Watched so many YouTube videos on how to change the bezel insert, it looks fairly easy to do yourself (just don’t lose that spring of course). Just change and make sure I save and secure the original bezel insert.

Thanks!

after years of taking a break I'm back .

This was the best I've done - a new Daytona with retro bezel and custom dial. Brushed case and band too.
