I originally only ever wanted the 15400st. I obsessed over it for 5 years feeling like a moron for passing bCk in the day when these were 12-14k grey market.

I finally purchased my 26331st and am ecstatic with my choice after deciding not to wait for the 15500 any longer on waitlist.

It’s truly the best of both worlds. You get the elegant tappiserie but with an added complication that brings something extra to the playing field. The only downside to the ROC is the F. piguet movement which is not in house but used for many years in heavy hitting chronos like the VC overseas.

If you plan on wearing with a suit only 15400 may be better suited as some people find the ROC too sporty. I wear a suit all day and love my ROC with it.

It's good to have both but if it is only one, I would pick 15400st, it can be both sport and dress watch.

I have 15500OR with full rose gold bracelet and waiting for 26331st blue dial.

Both beautiful. Comes down to you wanting a cleaner or more complicated dial and open case back with in house caliber or closed back with the (excellent) Piguet movement.

Can't go wrong. My choice was the 15400; wearing it today and enjoying it just as much as I did a couple years ago when I got it.

I would go chrono because I love the look but there is no right or wrong answer. I just depends on which one YOU like better. Just buy the one that appeals to you more!

15400 for me. I think the proportions, text layout, date layout is better than the 15500. In a perfect world, I'd take the 15400 dial and put the 15500 second hand on it.

I also personally prefer the contrasting sub dials of the 26331st, so would go with 15400 and 26331ST for the combo. But of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, get what you want.

My final productive comment it if going 26320, try to get the blue. It's stellar, at least going off 7sins photos!

I've owned multiple dial iterations of both and my favorite will always be the 26320 of the two. It is entirely subjective but I find the aesthetic of the chrono case better along with a less empty dial. 15202 would supersede both IMO.

At 41mm I'd go for the ROC, fills up the wide dial nicely.

Since the day will never come when buyers prefer the Royal Oak chronograph to the Royal Oak three hander (or two hander, for that matter) you might as well go with the 15400.

+1

In person I really prefer the "flow" of the dial with the Chrono. As Neil mentions above - it "fills the dial.

Always partial to blue...but any flavor on the Chrono - you'll be happy
