Ask and you shall receive. Here's a quick summary of the daily wear dings and scratches on my SD and DJ:
All of the above can and will be fixed at the next service - until then I'm not going to worry about it.

I wear my watches all the time, the only time they come off is to shower. They go in the pool, the ocean or wherever else my arm goes. That being said, I sure as hell don't beat up my watch anymore than I play demo derby with my car.

I certainly don't baby any of my watches. My GMT gets the most beater time but the DD has been getting worn more often these days. I'll even wear it with jeans. The Jubilee bracelet DD gets some wrist time when I wear a suit. I'll typically alternate that with my JLC Master Geo. And just today I decided for a change of pace to wear my GP ww.tc. Probably all of my watches have some scratches from normal wear, but so what. They are supposed to be worn. The scratches merely show character.

Now the next time we're on Skype, you're going to have to put them on the line so we can discuss the penalties for defaulting!

Sure pal!! The truth is that they've said to me that in all my 25 years of Rolex wheeling and dealing, the Blue YM pictured above is the most beautiful one of all. They've seriously asked me NEVER to sell it.

so true, scratches are part of life, just like on the brand new car parked at the far end of the parking lot so, not to get any and when you return to your car (and it's still in the same spot with no other cars around) you find a ding in your door! what can I say!! We have all been there I'm sure !!!!!
