$27k Breitling?

I don’t know much about Breitling, but I didn’t think they were that expensive.

At least in Candada, they use bear-spray and not fire-arms...

In America too. When I was a police officer, got a call to a naked man ( bloody ) standing in the hallway of an apartment building threatening others with a shard of glass in his hand.

When I get there it is exactly as described above but the landlord has already sprayed the guy with bear repellent. Three officers. One of them runs away into the fire escape dry heaving ( that seriously pissed me off ) leaving me and my trainee who had been out of the Academy three weeks to deal with this maniac. The entire hallway was contaminated with bear repellent and it was awful. The landlord and my cover officer ran out on us. I was gasping for air.

I had based upon the call brought up my bean bag shotgun. Which is a standard Remington or Winchester 12 gauge shotgun only painted completely yellow so as not to be mistakenly loaded with lethal rounds.

I racked the slide and as soon as the naked guy heard that sound he took cover behind a hallway pillar leaving just his left kneecap visible and exposed. I put the bead site right on his knee and after warning him to drop the glass ( about a foot and a half long shard ) I shot him in the knee cap. He crumpled. We pig piled him and he fought hard. Took lots of back up to get him strapped to a gurney and the paramedics sedated him. Good times. Covered in blood.

What's the old saying Sarge to new officers, "You just got yourself a free ticket to the greatest show on earth."

That mall cop seemed worthless. Seems like they will easily catch the other guy. The seller did well to pick a public place covered by CCTV cameras. As usual, thieves are kind of dumb.

Canadian news source, so...

$27,000 CAD = $20,000 USD

Gold Navtimer. 20K for a gold anything, not a crazy amount. What's the range for pre-owned YG Daytonas...25K to 35K USD?

I don’t think I have ever heard of a 27k Breitling. Maybe 2.7k would be more like it

I know I’m ignorant and all, but I didn’t know they made any gold Breitling watches.

Just being honest.

I’m new to the “watch game” so don’t know much...

Breitling doesn’t grab my attention either, so that’s part of it

everyone is missing the point that you have to walk around with bear spray in Canada.... thats scary. Bears freak me out.

I have never once thought, i better take my bear spray with me unless i am camping in Montana.

I think he happened to rob the guy and used what he always has on him anyway... bear spray. The follow up story is probably going to be, he used it all up in the robbery and got eaten running home

I'd hate to be the guy that sifts through bear poop to recover the watch.
