Anyone on the waiting list for New BLNR?

My AD special ordered the BLNR jubilee as soon as she arrive to the store Wednesday morning. First on the list. I didn’t have to leave a deposit this time. She told me to wait to leave any money down untill her boss comes back from Geneva. Anyone else place a special order or get put on a wait list? And what was required??

I waited 3 weeks for a Hulk. I’m pretty confident my ad will come thru as soon as shipments arrive. But you never know. I stopped by this weekend and she said only one other was on the list.

I got put on a waitlist. I don't have an "AD" relationship. A couple of places where I had my name for the 1st gen Batman said they were going to call the people on the initial batman waitlist and ask if they wanted to be on the gen 2 list. Another place I had my name on said they still haven't "decided" how they are going to handle orders for gen 2 (no clue what that means).

I didn't get anything - which is probably worse! It looks like you are much closer to getting one than I am! I will see, one of the ADs told me that they haven't heard anything from Rolex yet in terms of inventory and such and expect to hear something after Basel wraps up. Take it with a grain of salt as always

I was told earlier this week before Basel that I’m currently #1 on the list for 116710 BLNR so I’m hoping one trickles through. Put a deposit down several months ago. If not, I’ll still be completely satisfied bein one of the first to get the 126710 on Jubilee !

The ‘list’ is simply a pool of people who they can sell to. Preference will be given to repeat customers, ie: suppliers of grays.

My AD helped me get the BLNR jubilee on Wednesday. Said that it will probably around September. I have a very good relationship with my AD so no need to put deposit.

Nope... just a simple case of the V key being right next to the B key on the keyboard. Miss-types by the AD.

So I just went to see if I could get on a wait list at a local AD, was given the "we prioritize people who have bought before, could be a long wait" spiel, which I understand, that's just how it is these days. He asked if I still wanted to put my name down and I said sure why not. He then pulled out what looked like a piece of paper destined for the recycle bin and wrote my name and number down on the back of it, not even noting which model I was interested in. Pretty sure I'm never going to hear back from that place ever.

I have a VVIP relationship with my AD. He messaged me to say he had ‘registered my interest’. Wait lists based on first come first served are, unfortunately, a thing of the past. It’s now based on previous spend and the AD’s are choosing the select clients to sell to. Go and buy a nice Datejust 41 for yourself and a 36mm two tone with diamond dial for the missus - you’ll soon be bumped up that elusive ‘list’ for the desirable SS models.. (except the Blue SS Skydweller - even VVVVVIP’s have to wait years for that one!)

I have one reserved at my local AD in the Toronto area. They strictly only took five reservations and each one of us had to pony up a 5k deposit. I showed up thirty minutes before the AD opened on March 20 and patiently waited. Ten minutes before they opened there was already a lineup of five of us waiting to order the new blnr. One guy even brought pastries for all the employees I was the first reservation but I suspect the pastry guy will be getting his first They said delivery would probably be in mid July but no guarantee

I got my name down on the day of its release .
Last year my Pepsi arrived in July and I was told I was the second person to get one from that AD

I buy a lot of watches for myself, family, and friends. I have a number of AD's that call me on a regular basis and ask if I want a piece that just came in. I was getting so many calls from so many AD's that I had to cut down on the calls by starting my own list. If an AD is not on my list, I say, very politely, "I don't care that you have a Daytona, etc. you are not on my list, please don't call again." Some are so persistent, I've had to block their calls.

Never realy liked the BLNR, maybe the colors or the stupid nickname that turned me off, But I do have a BLRO and i love the jubilee bracelet. So when the fotos leaked with the BLNR on jubilee i jumped and called my AD. Put down a small deposit and i'm first on the list. I actualy saw the list this weekend when i walked in. 7/8 are on it, all with deposits.

What do you expect your AD to do? Move you to the list for the new BLNR or it doesn't matter what your AD would do?

And you are now stuck with 2 not-so-hot watches that you'll have to practically give away if you ever wanted to sell. Pass.

Yep. I’ll take the new 126710 BLNR on jubilee. I really enjoy the BLRO on jubilee and look forward to the new BLNR on it as well. What to do now with the super jubilee I used to swap the PCL of my old BLNR? Stockpile it I guess-

You might not along with a handful of others. But you are wrong, lots of people will be interested in picking one up. The PCL oyster was the reason I did not order blnr 1. The jubilee will hide scratches much better.
