This member quest1412 Has a submariner listed for sale it was a little fishy but I want to head and purchased it using PayPal goods and services knowing it would be protected. Turns out I should’ve trusted my gut seems to be fraud and I’m disputing it with PayPal now watch out!!!

Yep someone else just posted about this guy. Too bad people keeptrying to transact on a deal that’s too good to be true from someone with 3 posts.

PayPal sided with the seller because he uploaded a tracking number that stated it was delivered to the front door. No signature requested. I was livid!

Called FedEx because all it said was delivered to Gainesville VA and didn’t give an address. I explained to FedEx the situation and asked if they could verify whether or not it had been delivered to my address. They confirmed that it was delivered to a completely different address.

I warned Paypal before I paid that I thought it was fishy. After I knew it was for sure a scam I provided them all the details of the other member who he also scammed and uploaded screen shots of the watch out section.

After going back and forth between PayPal and FedEx I finally got the case reopened. It has not been fun. Think twice even when paying PayPal goods and services.

Jeez thats gotta suck. Sorry for your troubles.

Your post makes me that much more relieved that when I have bought from the classifieds I have always bought from one of the main Trusted Sellers and that also have there own website.

You might pay more but the money you potentially saved actually lost you waaaaay more because of crooks like this.

I of course am not trying to put salt in your wound just stating my buying requirements.

if you ever see "sudomail" in the Email its a scam this is a Proxy email that scammers use. I cannot believe I didn't catch that. Going too fast.
