Rolex parts scam
Recently placed a WTB ad for a bezel insert. I am usually very careful, but this time, since it was a small amount of money, i thought nothing of it and I am out $100. I paid with Paypal friends and family. Next time I will buy only if people send a PM as opposed to anyone looking at the forum and seizing the opportunity. Not sure what hole this person crawled out of, but he now can go out to dinner and possible a movie by himself with the money he stole from me,
The paypal email and name of the person is: Peter Kangethe kangethep203@gmail.com |

. . . and just make certain you never WIRE any funds either.
At least your $100 is a 'livable" amount to be out; could have been much worse.

It’s sad that there’s folks out there just looking for opportunities to steal from someone.
I had it happen to me several years ago on another website, it was for a Montblanc pen I was looking to buy. Lessons learned the hard way I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Keep in mind that it "could" be an honest member who got hacked. Happens all the time.
Best to let the admins/moderators handle it, if indeed a 'real' member.

Well aware of members who get hacked because they don’t have 2FA. Mods can’t handle if it hasn’t been reported - so better to be transparent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
