Finally made it to pick my first Nautilus

Celebrating….such an amazing watch. I really like how it sits on the wrist. Extremely comfortable, probably my most comfortable watch I own.

Still hoping/waiting for the call on any SS Nautilus…

Thank you. I have wanted a Nautilus for five years and was on a wait list with a significant deposit for these five years on the blue face 5711. I was up next when the announcement was made, discontinuing the 5711 and refunded my deposit. I believe this was a consolation watch. Even though this one is not stainless steel, I couldn’t pass it up. I’m not a big fan of any watch with leather straps, but this one is growing on me.

I think the 5712g is the nicest of all the Nautilus and mine is a daily wearer.

I have to comment on why you would buy it if you're not really a big fan though? I'm utterly in love with mine. I have a bunch of watches and I wear some more than others and if really pushed I could probably pick a favourite, but I still really like the ones that right now wouldn't make it to the top of my favourite list. I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't really like them, there is no way I'd buy a watch that I wasn't totally into, no matter how much it was popular with other people.

Congratulations! Wear it in great health. The croc looks awesome but I also really enjoy mine on the composite strap. And FWIW I really prefer the rose gold version of this piece to the steel. Enjoy it in good health!

Very good point. Probably not my proudest moment, as I’m a true watch enthusiasts and don’t believe in buying watches solely based on popularity or rarity. In 2015 I passed on this Stainless steel Nautilus because I wasn’t drawn to the white faced, but loved everything else about the watch. I moved forward with this purchase because I really like white gold Precious metal watches (I have a PAM and Rolex in White Gold) and as I mentioned, I love the Nautilus and the grey face against the WG is stunning, very elegant.

Thank you. I haven’t seen the Rose Gold version in person, but I already have a Patek Rose Gold that I bought two years ago, I’m certain yours is stunning.

Who needs a steel Nautilus when you already have one of these? Congrats
