Yes you do!!! These high-horsepower wagons are deceptively fast and perfect for daily driver duties.

That's crazy good looking Merc. Is it a 53 AMG or 63? Looks stunning.

What beautiful cars!
I really like station wagons, it's practical and it fits well with my use (highway). All my SUVs left without remorse as the fuel consumption was too high past 130 or 150KM / h. The station wagon are races and spin like lightning and often allow me to make my trip (up to ~ 1000KM) with a single tank of gasoline and nothing more annoying than stopping at the pump!
My best experience was Honda civic Tourrer! What modularity and fuel autonomy !!!!
The RS6 C7 was also not bad in another register!

I join you Juho, the CLS AMG is unique and ages very well!

That's a cool one. Hondas are super reliable cars. Their engines are built to last.

I love station wagons!

Just saw a mock-up of an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio wagon and now I have to ask why is this not in production.

Wow!

That is brand new 2021 model, right?

I have 2019 (just normal diesel) model and my rear lights are a bit different. Same shape but the LEDs inside are cooler in your car.

Cheers.

I do too.
Never understood folks who said station wagons (used to be called beach wagons) weren't cool.

Yes, 2021.
Diesel wagon, nice.. Here in the US we only have 2 choices for a Merc wagon.
AMG E63S or the E450 All-Terrain (which is pretty cool on its own).

And short of an e63, m5, etc…. That is the single greatest wagon on earth. I could feel the comfort through the pictures

Well it looks like 2021 is the last of the AMG E63S line. 2022 E63S orders have been cancelled. The next AMG wagon will be hybrid or all electric.

Supposedly, an AMG E73S Wagon is slated for 2023. 800hp Hybrid. We shall see.

Here's another one!

The family had one of these when I was young (forgot when that was):

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pr...l5WWwaoHIhZvE0

It didn't look that bad back then; if it's still around I'm sure it would now.

Those were the days.

Is that for the US? You didn't get the regular wagon E-class there at all. They're all those higher "allroad"-versions.

In Europe we have the full station wagon line in production, from 200 CDI to E63 AMG Wagon.

For 2021 model year the sedan received major visual changes but the wagon remained almost untouched (just new headlights and front bumper).

Best looking wagon on this thread. With a V6 (naturally aspirated) and a 6 speed manual box it would go close to being my ideal family vehicle. Would have to be rear-wheel drive however.

Axed, I believe.

Yes, just the US that i know of. All E63S orders, wagon and sedan, are cancelled and wagons are offered a E450 build slot. They may open E63S back up, but for now they are closed.

We only had those 2 wagon choices here in the US. Wagons aren't as popular as SUV's here.

Me too. 1965 Cadillac hearse. 429 CI engine and Turbo 400 transmission. Mechanically pristine, as it had been driven only 60,000 miles when the band acquired it. That beast sure could roll smoothly along the AC Expressway at 4am with the headlamps out. By starlight or moon glow.

We sold it for break-even to a guy who wanted to remove the engine/trans for an El Camino.

The Volvo V90 supposedly has a flat and full 4' x 8' cargo area when the seats are folded. Might even make glamping bearable, as long as there was a decent hotel close by.

I drove a couple of Infiniti Qx-56s over the last 20 years and they were great for hauling the kids to/from sports and then to/from college. Once that was over I was finally able to get the vehicle I coveted for those 20 years, a Subaru Outback. I got the base model with as little modern crapola as I could.

As nice as the Alfa is if I lived in Australia there’s a 100% chance I’d have a Holden Ute!

I was in Sydney just days before everything changed (March 2020) and snapped this. Such a cool work rig.

lig - I have always regarded these as the "modern Australian Sports Car".
They only seat two, and with the right options they can be a fast and entertaining vehicle to drive...and you can sleep in the back if you go to a big party in the bush and get lucky.
With the 6 itre V8 and the 6 speed manual, they are quick AND fun... and on the weekend you can throw a Refrigerator in the back to help your mate move house.
If I was a young bloke and lived in the bush it would be my first pick.
